Summer Session 3: Architecture Week June 29-July 2 (4 days) Small Classes with Individual Attention

Students will learn about different architectural styles while focusing on sketching and drawing skills. Students will learn how to draw a building in two-point perspective and learn how to shade and draw different materials for the buildings. We will also build a model of their idea.
Campers will get their own camp shirt to wear for the week, which they will keep in the studio to use as a smock.
Spend the morning being creative in the art studio with us!
9:00am- Arrival/ Introduction to lesson/demonstration
9:20-10:30 – Work in Studio
10:30am – Break for snack. Bring our snacks to the tables in the cafe across from the studio.
10:50- Take a walk down the “Longest Hallway in the Western Hemisphere” to get some exercise and move around.
11:00am – Continue working in the art studio
12:30pm – Lunch in the cafe.
1:00pm – Dismissal

Students will be working with Mrs. Sherman and Danielle, our junior counselor. Danielle is a college student studying architecture.
