Summer Session 1: How to Draw Awesome Things! June 15-19 Small Classes with Individual Attention

Students will learn how to draw awesome things – they will definitely be showing off their drawing skills after this week!
Each student will get their own sketchbook to use throughout the week. They will learn how to draw with pencils, colored pencils, micron pens, and chalk pastels to create awesome things like eyes, textures, metallic surfaces, a glowing candle, and so much more.

Campers will get their own camp shirt to wear for the week, which they will keep in the studio to use as a smock.

Spend the morning being creative in the art studio with us!

9:00am- Arrival/ Introduction to lesson/demonstration
9:20-10:30 – Work in Studio
10:30am – Break for snack. Bring our snacks to the tables in the cafe across from the studio.
10:50- Take a walk down the “Longest Hallway in the Western Hemisphere” to get some exercise and move around.
11:00am – Continue working in the art studio
12:30pm – Lunch in the cafe.
1:00pm – Dismissal
